5Circles (2009)
Pilot Theatre in collaboration with KMA, and Illuminating York
“Really enjoyed the experience of 5Circles. Clearly everyone else did too, cos it was heaving. Was good to see everyone brought together by the project, interacting and letting themselves go a bit. Lovely sensory playground that everyone can enjoy. Nice one.”
Five rings of light and sound projected onto a city centre pavement and an invitation to the public to jump in and explore the way their moves interacted with the light, the sound and the movement of other people.
The project included workshops with local groups and a week long summer school.
